Every child attending Explorers pre-school, will be set up an online learning journal, through the platform of ‘Tapestry'. Here, the team will be able to upload observations with photos and / or videos, which are shared with parents and carers. These observations allow for the children’s developmental progress to be tracked, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Tapestry provides an opportunity for parents and carers to comment and add their own observations to their child’s journal. This helps to provide a strong partnership between the pre-school and home and we love to see these home observations! The child’s learning journal shows their develop from when they start at our pre-school through to when they transition to primary school (or for any other reasons if before this time).
