At Explorers Pre-School, every child is provided with their own online learning journal through Tapestry, a platform that allows us to capture and celebrate children's learning and development. Throughout your child's time with us, our team will upload observations, photographs/videos to their individual journal, documenting their experiences, achievements and developmental progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Tapestry also provides parents and carers with the opportunity to view their child's learning journey, leave comments and even share their own observations from home. We love seeing what the children get up to outside of Pre-school, and these contributions are a wonderful way of celebrating their achievements and interests together. By sharing these experiences, we can build a strong partnership between home and Pre-school, helping us to develop a fuller picture of each child's interests, needs and progression. Working together in this way enables us to provide meaningful learning experiences that support every child to thrive. Your child's learning journal will grow with them, creating a special record of their development and achievements from their very first day at Explorers through to their transition to primary school, or until they leave the setting for another reason.
